I feel like writing.

Thought I should add a few of my thoughts to the blog for once.

It's been one heck of a year end/new year. I feel like I am sitting on the bench watching a short montage of each day. That's how fast it feels like life is going right now. Everyday I am gaining more knowledge than I ever have or probably ever will. I learn many new things at work, However, more importantly my family teaches me constantly.
Launa has been teaching me confidence and leadership since the day I met her. I grow more and more in love with her every time it happens.
Sterling is teaching me about perseverance (which remarkably comes off as stubbornness :) and general happiness. The boy never stops trying to make me smile. It's unavoidably addicting.
Emery is loving. I can tell already. She wants all the attention that you can give her so she can smile and make you happy. She has the ants in her pants like her mother so you can't just sit on the couch and hold her. You must walk around and show her things. She even goofs at herself in the mirror.

What more could a guy want out of life. I feel happy. I am physically exhausted at some times, and I do get a bit crabby as a result. However, I couldn't be more pleased. My job is enjoyable, my family I can't get enough of. I get a lot of people asking me if I think I made the right choice starting a family young. I have no regrets. I wouldn't do it any other way. I want to be healthy and stay as young as possible in order to be with my family for as long as I can.

Alauna, Sterling, Emery. Your papa loves you. Thank you for choosing me.

PHOTOS!!!!

Here are some photos as per request from my Mother!  Sorry Mogs, it is busy here with two little needy goat babies and everything else!

We gave Emery her baby blessing back at Christmas because my parents were visiting us in Canada.  My sister made her blessing dress, which I must say is absolutely adorable.  My blessing dress was this colour as well, so I must say that it was even more cute!
(Her blessing dress with the matching jacket)
Here is Emery looking really cute in her blessing dress!

I had to at least represent Sterls and post a photo of the little guy!  He is cute on most days but he definitely has hit the terrible twos!  He has such a defiant personality and gets a lot of time outs...he also goes back into time outs seconds after he gets out because he has to prove he can do whatever he wants even if we punish him.  Little rat....

Skiing

We went to C.O.P. tonight and went to a ski club where John, a member who is representing Alberta in the nationals for sit-skiing, let Sterls use his sit-ski for a bit.  We had a blast and Sterling is such a natural!  He got right on the ski and went down little hills and up little hills.  He threw his body weight forward and backwards to get momentum in order to move the ski.  He kept saying 'I want to go faster on this hill!!!' with the occasional 'FASTERRRRRRRR!'.  He played on the sit-ski for a really long time and cried when we made him go home.  Only bribes of getting him a treat for being such a good little boy calmed him down.  It was really nice seeing how much he enjoyed himself for the short time that we were there.  I can't wait to buy him his own sit-ski!  We plan to take him a few more times this season so he can get accustomed to the snow.   Sorry for the low quality photos, we only had our phones with us.

Worst Blogger Ever!

Wow, I am really getting behind on this thing.  I have about 20 projects done that I have not posted about.  I will get to those one day when my baby decides that she doesn't want me to hold her 24/7.  Does anyone know what to do about a baby that wont let you put her down?  Unfortunately my house is in disarray, I rarely make dinner and I am just plain exhausted from holding her all the time.  She let me put her down for a few hours the first 3 weeks but now she has decided that she wants all the attention. I put her down and baby-wear her but still can't seem to get much done. This seems harder the second time around when two are demanding your constant attention.

The poor little girl has had a fever the last two days. I am running on about 4 hours of sleep between two nights...how come you don't believe anyone how exhausting children are until you have your own.  You forget between the first one and second one how exhausting it really is to be a parent.

Emery is officially a little piggy. She wants to eat nonstop and is now ten pounds ten ounces. Whew, what a cute little chunker.

Sterls is doing well. He is still acting up a little more than usual (although I am not so sure it just isn't the terrible twos). He went from being a sweet little boy (yet still defiant) to being nasty and screechy 24/7. No amount of timeouts seem to deter him either. They only seem to fuel the defiance fire. He is starting to be digustingly strong from all his stair climbing shenanigans. I will have to post some strong baby photos taken over Christmas. What a little character he is....

In the meanwhile I have decided it is time to start working out again...Sadness for me!  I got a 2 month membership from curves for only $36 (it is just 2 blocks from my house) to get my fitness goals jumpstarted.  We will see how this goes....I mean at least it will give me a 40 minute break from the kiddies 5 days a week, so that can't hurt!

I promise I will try harder to post some photos of the little kiddies and my recent projects that I did just before I gave birth to the chunker.
