Here are some recent photos of the fam.  Look at this little girl.  Serious trouble maker! Trevor is already having freak-outs about all the boys and skimpy little outfits that she is going to be wearing in no time at all.  LOVE IT!

 Went to the Royal Tyrell Museum a month and a half ago.  The kiddies LOVED it!  I mean super loved it! The weather was great and it was just really nice to get out and do something for the kids.

 Yup, he is my handsome little man.  He was there charming all the ladies as usual.  I think this is the one that Trevor should be worried about.  He is the talker and is always hitting on the girls.

Arty Farty

Decided that we needed a little DIY art to liven up this empty wall space in our kitchen.  I originally had curtains up there, but I just hated them with the space.  So I took them on down and patched the holes and covered any evidence of curtains. But now my space was....BLAND.  I haven't gotten to painting and reupholstering my chairs and finishing my kitchen and everything just looked so bland and boring in there.  

Armed with photoshop, the graphics fairy website, photoshop and three hours of spare time I was able to come up with this:

I am admittedly cheap and used some leftover frames that I have collected over the years to create this photo collage.  Totally love how it adds some graphic touches to the space but it is also personalized and no one else has these exact designs.  Ahhh, Love free and love easy!  I knew that degree in Graphic Design would come in handy somewhere in my life...

 

A little bit of fresh air!

This is where I spent my whole last weekend.  Outside my house starting the never-ending exterior work.  Phase one of the exterior- PAINT! This is what we started out with (Yes, I did photoshop my house numbers to sway any creepers out there):

 This is what we ended up with after a couple days of work....Please ignore the blue trim on the peaks.  We did not have a ladder tall enough to paint it (even with Trevor's monkey arms) so we are going to have to wait on that one until we can borrow one, but you get the drift.  Loving how much cleaner and white trim and yellow door are looking.  

Now if it was only so easy to get the landscaping part of the front yard done :(

 

This is what I get to wake up to...

Sooo sooooo long. I know. I had a horrible lung infection for 4 weeks only to catch the flu 3 days later. This equaled nothing getting done. So when I finally I got better I had to giver every spare second because I only have 7 shorts weeks until this little man gets an eviction notice. Trevor and I have not sat down for even 5 minutes these last couple weeks in a frantic effort to get lots done.

So hopefully I will post the fruit of our labour soon (Although I'm admittedly awful at this. All my bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom have been mostly complete for months and I have done tons of projects in them. Have I posted anything about these....Not so much). Whew, tired.

Anyway, onto cuter things. This is what I get to wake up to in the mornings (It has a good attitude face. It throws these looks around like spare change. Yup, love my mini-me):

Wow. That sucked!

So I have been missing in action for very good reason. About three weeks ago I got this gnarly cold. I was up all night long coughing and throwing up from coughing and then coughing some more. Then we had a vacation planned starting March 31st for a whole week paid and set in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC. Left Friday night, coughed 2 days straight. It was so bad I kept everyone up both nights and we couldn't do anything in the day because it made me cough. So.....Sunday we made the executive decision to come home and forfeit the rest of our vacation :( Trevor only gets 10 days vacation and it seemed like a bad move to waste 5 days of it on staying up all night long in misery.

Went to my doctor last Monday because I was having difficulty breathing. Turns out my cold turned into a a really bad lung infection. Not really a surprise considering I have what's called 'cough variant asthma'. That means I get sick more often, it feels a lot worse and it stays longer than most people which then makes me have really bad asthma. My asthma only flares up when sick. I get pneumonia and bronchitis on a regular basis. So three medications later I now have a good old regular cold and three weeks of suffering behind me, with still some more to come. I still can't do anything or else I go into outrageous coughing fits of death.

Whininess over:

My sister has an acreage 8 minutes from us. She decided to have an egg hunt this year for all the kids in our family around these parts for Easter. Kids loved it!

Emery got super egg possessive. Every egg she found she would slowly make her baby paced way towards it. If any other kids tried to snatch it while she was getting it she gave them super death stare and screamed on top of her lungs while shaking her fist, "NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!" Yup, definitely my little girl.

Sterling loved it and got a wagon ride to boot. So cute, my man!

Only 10 weeks to go for the new little man in my life. Not sure if that is a good thing this is almost over or a bad thing....EEk. Not ready this time around so thinking I could use some more time....
