I am so very blessed!

Can I just say that I am the luckiest and most blessed Mother on this planet!

9 months of worry, sadness and just plain craziness over in just one second. All it took was the little squeak that came out of him as he was pulled from me to realize that it was all for nothing. I didn't need to worry so much and I didn't need to be upset that I was pregnant when it was not planned because I fell in love instantly when I heard his first cry. He is so beautiful and perfect to me. My sweet little chubby angel and I am so in love. The three best moments of my life were the ones where my children were born and changed my life for the best infinitely forever.

I am cherishing this time with my family right now as I know this is the last time that I will get the gift of taking care of him while he is so little. I have made the promise to my children that they will always come before me and I will make sure that they know how much they are loved and are unique and special.

So without further ado:

We wish to welcome our third and final installment into the South family:

Paaaaaartaaaaay!

Well, this post obviously isn't about having a baby. But I had photos to share so it's happening. Sterling and Emery's cousin Joshua had his 7th Birthday party yesterday and it was a bouncy slide party. Dana was a good sport and took both my kids down the slide at least a million times each.

Set up the baby stuff in the house today and Emery was 'testing' out all the goods for hours on end. Sooooo cute!

Getting nervous for my c-section today. Like sweaty nervous about it. I super hate c-sections: I mean who wouldn't love being in horrible pain and barely able to walk for weeks on end? So grateful to my Mama for coming here for three weeks to help out with the kiddies. Seriously, don't know where I would be without that help!

Since, I am so nervous about the c-section that I have been keeping myself busy! I must say - I put on a pretty good spread for someone 39.5 weeks pregnant and about to have a c-section the next day (yes, I'm tooting my own horn and proud of myself!) I made fresh French bread loaves with shredded beef sandwiches topped with mozzarella, peppers, caramelized onions and mushrooms. Side of baked potato salad complete with bacon and cheese... Mmmmmm! And then a peanut butter cream cheese pie to top it off. My last meal for the next 35 hours is gonna be a tasty one.

Anyway! Wish me luck, new baby tomorrow.

3 More Sleeps

Only 3 more sleeps until I am a Mother of three....CRaZY!!!! I seriously am in disbelief. I am ready to stop being in so much pain but so not ready to have all this craziness begin.

Sterling had the flu all night a couple nights ago. Whew, that was a long night. He threw up over 20 times, but still managed to wake up in pretty good spirits. Unfortunately, I am now feeling sick. I seriously am starting to loose it. Between the constant painful contractions all night long for the last three weeks and the horrible flu cramping I have had no sleep lately. Looking forward to getting this baby out!

My kids are crazy as usual! They are loving that Grandma is here. They think she came for the soul purpose for entertaining and spoiling them (which she is doing both in mass quantities). Sterling cried on and off all night because Grandma went to stay with my sister and then my brother this weekend since Trevor is home to help. Silly little guy. He has been milking the snuggles every chance he gets from her.

Emery has started saying Grandma now. Followed closely by 'treat!' She touches all Grandmas' things (luggage, purse, computer bag) looking for treats. She knew Grandma was a sucker within 10 minutes of her staying here. Love it!

Next post- Meet the little guy!

Hopefully, I get on top of that while recovering from my c-section in the hospital but no promises!!! Leave you with 38 week preggo belly and my adorable kiddies.

Still Here

I'm still here and I'm still pregnant. I had Emery which would equate to a week ago for this little guy. I knew the chances of having him that early were not real great but I still can't seem to be so disappointed every day that I'm still pregnant.

Not much happening on the home front. It takes me all day and all my energy to just keep the house in some sort of shape.

On the exciting news, my Mama is going to be here on Thursday for three weeks!!! Yay! Sure do miss my parents and am excited that at least one of them can come and help me after the little guy is here. It is impossible to take care of a disabled son when you can't lift more than 5 pounds and I have pretty bad recoveries from c-sections. So very grateful for the help coming my way!

Hopefully my next update includes a photo bomb blog about my new baby boy. (Still a boy, had an ultrasound last week for some minor problems and he is still a boy).
